Children experience grief differently than adults. They may have a protective attitude toward their parents and other adults and be reluctant to share their grief with adults who are grieving the same loss. This six week group will provide a safe, supportive environment with activities to allow your child the full expression of their grief. Your child’s healing will be facilitated by sharing with other children the loss of the loved one, learning to better understand and express their feelings, and to help them recognize appropriate alternatives in expressing their grief. If your child has experienced loss this group is essential!
